Leading Youth Forward was developed to help guide student-athletes in the game of LYF. The goal is to teach skills needed to be leaders in their communities. By developing the ability to analyze their own strengths and weaknesses, set personal and professional goals, and have the self-esteem, confidence, motivation, and abilities to carry them out.
Our volunteers will guide, and train student-athletes and community youth to become better citizens where they live.

Introduction to LYF Academy
o Overview of LYF Academy’s mission and commitment to student-athlete success.
o Understanding the comprehensive support provided.
Monthly 1 Hour Consultation with PArents
o Monthly 1-hour consultations to guide parents through the NCAA Eligibility Recruiting
process.
o Open forum discussions on academics, athletics, and personal aspects of the
student-athlete’s life.
PArent Educational Courses (EPIC)
o Bi-weekly educational meetings/classes covering the entire recruiting process.
o In-depth insights from A to Z, empowering parents with knowledge to support their
student-athletes.
Academic game plan
o Understanding admission requirements for colleges and NCAA eligibility criteria.
o Analyzing transcripts and potential obstacles, creating a strategic academic plan in
writing.
